Connecting Farmers with Consumers
North Carolina Choices is supported by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and aims to address the barriers farmers face in producing and marketing pasture-based livestock and poultry and to develop new market opportunities for local producers. NC Choices is currently incubating a local meat business venture to help farmers access retail and food service markets. Farmers participating in NC Choices programming and selling direct to consumers are profiled on the project website (www.ncchoices.com).
