Seasons of Sustainable Agriculture Workshop Series

The Seasons of Sustainable Agriculture Workshop Series is one of CEFS' initiatives to promote sustainable, community-based food systems, healthy communities and healthy economies. With a series of education, extension and outreach events offered each year, CEFS shares its knowledge and experience in sustainable agriculture with producers, agricultural professionals and the general public, enabling all citizens to take part in creating in a vibrant future for agriculture.

Farm to Fork Picnic

In a unique collaboration, the region's most acclaimed cooks pair with Piedmont farmers to prepare a picnic-style feast that celebrates our local foods and the people who grow and make them. Bon Appétit has called it the “country’s best all-you-can-eat feast.” The event raises money for the CEFS and Breeze Farm Farm Apprenticeship Programs and is a partnership of CEFS, Slow Food Triangle, and Breeze Farm.
