Friends of CEFS

Friends of CEFS, a 501(c)(3), is a membership organization for those who share the Center for Environmental Farming Systems' (CEFS') commitment to a sustainable future for agriculture.

Friends support the CEFS mission by sharing their time, their expertise, and their financial resources to support CEFS research, education, and outreach programs throughout North Carolina.

At CEFS, we understand that agriculture is important to our families, our neighbors, our environment, and our future. By practicing agricultural activities that are sustainable from farm to fork, we can

produce sufficient, healthy food for communities,
protect our environment,
promote a just society, and
provide a good livelihood for farm families.
